WHAT IS CRYOTHERAPY
Cryotherapy is the controlled destruction of unwanted tissue by the precise application of extreme cold (cryonecrosis).
In FREEZPEN Cryotherapy, a cryogenic gas called Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is applied to the lesion for a few seconds to freeze and destroy the affected skin cells.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER PROCEDURE

During healing, dead cells are eliminated and the lesion shrinks over time.

Damaged tissue is removed to allow new healthy tissue to grow in the same area.

The tissue usually recovers after a few weeks.

It is recommended to apply healing ointments (such as Aquaphor®) to promote more effective healing process.
